+1 on this.
After VANOS seals I am getting 25 mpg mixed Driving in Denver. And mine is 325 auto, which is not really economical when driving bumper to bumper.

Well, you can say Denver is not a real city, but rush hour traffic has been worst here since past couple of years. The roads were not designed to handle this king of traffic, but the recent uprise in the number of cars being driven has taken its toll on these roads.
I drive 15 miles one way everyday at 8 30 and come back at 5. And each trip takes me 45 minutes, and that is highway. The constructions on the roads doesn't help either.
The rise of traffic I have seen here in past 4 years is just incredible.

Keeping it in the thread, I am getting 25mpg constant after new boots, plugs, VANOS seals and VCG.

Doing CCV and OFHG and fuel filter(again) soon along with FCABs, RTABs and RSMs(this wont affect much in the mpg I guess, but would certainly give better ride).
Thinking to run sea foam before next oil change which is coming soon. What do you say guys? Shall I run this sea foam thing?

That's just a number, completely meaningless without showing the remaining miles on the obc or the fuel gauge

Here's mine, over 400 miles on a commuting tank

I'm afraid your OBC 101 teacher just got back to me with your grade on the final.

Regret to say you failed.

my 2000 323ci 5spd gets 16mpg city and like 21mpg highway... seeing as most of you guys are running into this same crap did anyone find the culprit? could it be my custom 17 inch rims? btw the car only has 111k miles on it.

i get 20 on mine on average, of course largely due to the fact that i like my acceleration, but once at top speed get solid 28+ rolling smoothly. but that's about to decrease because im living in Florida (warm state) and there is winter coming up, so i expect to have my MPG decrease by a fraction, and the time spent on road to work/home increase drastically the only positive thing is i get to spend a little more time riding her, as well as practice some maneuvers, because at speeds traffic be moving might as well turn my imagination on and imagine its car cones being pushed by wind

03 325i and commute 30 miles in the early morning here in Southern California so while I'm on the freeway, I'm usually finding myself cruising around 30-40 in certain areas. Overall I see my MPG averaging at 25.5 I'm thinking of replacing the fuel filter, plugs and O2s soon so I may be able to increase this.

The most I got on my 325 was 35mpg going south on the freeway, coming back north I get almost 31mpg, just got 4 brand new tires on my car and my car ran so smoothly and quite but my mpg on the freeway barely hit 27mpg now, plus my disa valve just got bad...maybe ill check my tires pressure tmr...

Nice. Most I got was like 34.2 on a 600 mile trip. I can get almost 32 usually on the highway.
