FS/FT 2000 BMW 323iT Touring Wagon 5spd $8500
2000 BMW 323iT Wagon
129,xxx miles 5 speed LSD rear diff lifetime guarantee ceramic window tint Every service record since the car was brand new included. Clean Carfax (no accidents) Original Window Sticker Included Sport Suspension Package w/ 17 in rims HID Bi-Xenons factory Car is located in Augusta, GA Car and Driver Specs on the Car: http://media.caranddriver.com/files/...323i-wagon.pdf This is a very rare car. Someone special ordered it because it's a 5 speed RWD LSD, sunroof delete, with no power seats. The seats are sports 8 way adjustable, there are just no electronics to break in them. Try to find another BMW 3 series wagon with these options. Most are AWD autos. The power and purr of the BMW straight six is heaven. Like I said before, I have every service record for the car. It tells quite a story to know every repair that's ever been done. It was also washed and waxed by the dealer at nearly every oil change. The only things that I've had issues with were: -replaced driver's side xenon headlamp (the halo on the same side just went out--could be a fuse or relay?) -replaced upper radiator hose -new electric fan installed by BMW mechanic (one year warranty) The transmission shifts through all gears flawlessly and is filled with (along with the LSD differential) redline fluid. I would rate the interior a 8.5/10. The exterior has a few chips but I have the factory BMW paint chip repair kit. I would rate it an 8.5/10. You'd never guess it's a 12 year old car. There is one issue on the exterior--the clearcoat on front rear bumper has been peeling after going through a laserwash a couple times. I'll never do that again. The headlights are perfectly clear and look brand new; not at all foggy. I installed an AFE cold air intake that looks and sounds great. I still have the factory original airbox. The interior also has an ipod/iphone dock in the center console. This is a $400 kit and works great. There's also a factory CD changer in the rear cargo area. The rear seat has a fold down center console and there's a cargo bar to serve as a dog net. Overall this is a meticulously well maintained and babied wagon that will last many years and miles to come. It currently has 129,XXX and could easily go another 150,000. I'd drive it anywhere. I average 29-31 mpg highway and 25-27 mpg city. The pictures are from when I purchased the car in May. The only reason I'm selling is I bought an SUV for more space and now don't need the wagon or use it enough. The 20 spoke rims shown were purchased brand new with Swedish winter tires less than a year ago. That's about $1000 right there. I also have factory wheels with summer performance tires mounted on the vehicle right now. The base hp is 170. The AFE cold air intake is shown to add 6 and with the addition of a brand new Conforti Shark Injector (which I have brand new in the box, haven't used it yet) will bump the power to 169 rw lb torque and 177 rwhp. Here's a link with the dyno sheet: http://www.bimmerzone.com/images/E46325_shark.pdf Here are some reviews of the car: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...agon-road-test http://www.edmunds.com/bmw/3-series/...oad-test3.html http://www.theautochannel.com/vehicl.../russ0037.html NOTE: The windows are now tinted. My asking price is $8500 with both sets of rims and tires or $7500 with factory rims. I am also willing to trade for an equally clean reliable small import. I'd like a coupe or hatchback with 4 cyl. Let me know what you have. Last edited by Datzun86; 09-02-2012 at 01:32 AM. Reason: added location |

Where did you pick up an LSD for the car?

Judging by the fact that I have all the service records and the previous owners seemed like Grandma/Grandpa types, I'm going to say it's factory.
I'm saying it's an LSD because I accidentally left 2 one-foot patches of rubber in my driveway once. If it wasn't LSD, wouldn't only one tire spin? Here's a little bit of history on the car. Most of the cooling system has been replaced, all hoses were replaced around the 60-75,000 mark (memory is failing me but it's all in the paperwork). One or two window motors were replaced. I plan on fixing the driver's side halo in the next week or two. Here another review I found from Grassroots Motorsports: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/new...i-sport-wagon/ I drove the car to a 5k race this morning and am still on the fence if I really want to sell/trade it. If someone offered my lower price cash I'd probably let it go, or if someone offered let's say a super clean WRX or Miata I'd probably let it go. Thanks Also if anyone's interested I have a photobucket link with tons of pictures but it's password protected. PM me for the password and link. Last edited by Datzun86; 09-03-2012 at 09:14 AM. Only e46-M cars got LSD. Open differentials will only spin a single tire if there is a significant difference in coefficient of friction between the grip levels of the two tires.

I'd consider it. Would you be interested in only the wheels or the summer tires too? They have about 30,000 miles of life left. Shoot me a text of an offer.

Beautiful touring with the right options. As was said earlier, I wish it had been available when I bought mine last month.

Decided I'm not interested in the Mazda 3. There's some interest on this and another site. Tomorrow I will go through and list everything that's ever been done on this car as far as maintenance goes.

I just want to say that as a 2000 323i touring w/ rwd and 5spd owner I love my car and am surprised no one has picked this up yet. I have had mine for 2 years and it now has close to 180k miles on it. Changed the clutch at 168k miles just because I was taking a long trip and didnt want it to go out on me in the middle of no where, still a lot of life in the old plate.
Simply put, get this car, they are a blast. |
