Wheel fitment question
Does anyone have bbs style 5s on their e36s? I know its a crazy offset. But I do see people with this setup.
can anyone tell me what tire size to run on the rears and the front to avoid rubbing? Or at least get minimal rubbing? I know stretched tires are somewhat dangerous but I am leaning towards that direction instead of flaring/rolling my fenders. Insights please.

No way you can fit style 5's on without an arch roll at the rear. Front you should be fine depends on the tyres you use but you haven't said what size 17's or 18's?

Honestly doesnt matter if 17 or 18.. as long as you stretch and go low enough and roll or shave fenders you'll clear. 17x8+20 is the size of what youre looking at. Run a 215 and you'll tuck. minor stretch if anything, im running 215 on my 18x8+20 and 225 on 18x9+20. Flush!!

Im not planning to roll my fenders. Would i put 225 or 215 in the rear to avoid rubbing?
I believe style 5s are 17x8 all around.

Yes like i said, they are 1x7x8+20 offset all around, and if you put 215's all around i believe you will get away with it. Maybe even a 225 in the rears since its only an 8". Im 9"+20 in the rears with a 225 and rub only slightly on big big dips.

Yea, someone told me but I ignored it. After the person said it, in my mind I was like
. My friend said I dont need them, but I realized I do. I ordere the rings today. Hopefully they come in ASAP! I dont go over speed limit and stay in the right line because the vibration is driving me nuts. |

Well, what can I do. I have to get to school, and have to get to work. Thankfully, both locations arent far.
