Slight Hijack here: Does the ECU have to be changed or tuned with a CAI? Or is this just to add more performance along with the CAI? OP, I would be interested but the price is way outta my range right now.. Looks good though. I also have no idea the retail on this so.. FREE BUMP for a sweet lookin intake..

The piping is a spectre pipe but the filter is Dinan and so is the ecu

Its a fraud because the intake is the most important part, not the filter. For example, I have a dinan INTAKE (long tube) with a velocity stack and AFE filter. I do not have a AFE intake. Get the difference? So you have a spectre intake with a dinan filter.

Isnt that like Autozone? Hmmm.. Whats the ECU have to do with any of this?

oh, and one other thing. if you really plan on having someone "swap" ecus with you, or sell something, try to have more than 2 posts.

how the hell is the filter even Dinan? Dinan trademark its longtube intake with a blue filter. as far as the ECU, how the hell do you even part that one out when the ecu on an e46 is fixed and coded to each car.

let me guess, your car is an M325i too? and your automatic transmission is actually an SMG?
