Guys, this drive is ALWAYS fantastic. It would be absolutely thrilling to be able to get an E46 group together. There's always a buttload of snooty 1-series fanatics and a great variety of other BMW's. Last run we had down this way had about sixty cars!!! Lets make it HUGE.

ANY BMW is welcome and even some other Euro's if you have a decent excuse for no BMW (). If you can come, if you know mates that can come, DO IT!

Just make sure your car will go the distance or carry RACQ breakdown cover. I'm doing tail end duty again...and this time I ain't stopping to do a rescue and miss lunch and half the run.

Hehehehe when did you do that? Poor Mario and a few of my mates missed out last time because Darren PROMISED me he'd bled my cooling system property (ten minutes of air peeing out of the bleed screw later.....).

We've replaced the cooling system and completely sorted the transmission on the 330i, and packed the 535i away for now, so I can't see anything going wrong this time!

Then again, they are BMW's....

Just past Kyogle when an E30 had fuel pump failure. Despite a roadside fuel pump change (in someone's paddock) over about three hours, the mongrel thing wouldn't go. We had to transport the occupants and their battery to Brisbane while the car stayed in the paddock for a couple of days. So we missed lunch at Uki and the Numinbah Valley run.

Fantastic day of driving - especially after I was relieved of sheep dog/tail gunner duty after lunch and got to "use" the car up through Numinbah Valley.

Ahaha that was Rob Coburn, my ex-housemate, who did that last time! I still have that rustbucket E30 sitting in my shed. I didn't hold anyone up this time!

Yep, indeed it was. He didn't come this time I see. We were behind a leisurely Z3 until lunch yesterday. But after that....what a hoot.

Yes, I heard "Mr Sparkles" and his Supercharged Z3 were Sunday driving

And Rob is hiding from me, hence why he didn't turn up
