Pioneer iPhone cable plus Bluetooth adapter

Hey!

I was wondering if anyone had tried to connect an a2dp iPhone/iPod Bluetooth Dock adapter to a pioneer iPhone cable.

This cable: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...sories/CD-I200

And this Bluetooth adapter: http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Rece.../dp/B007ND7XKW

The reason why is because the Bluetooth adapter that is made for this head unit is actually more expensive than the headunit itself, so I'm looking at other possibilities that could work.

My headunit is a pioneer avh-p5000dvd

Thanks!

Seems like I have to find out by my self. I've ordered the cable and Bluetooth adapter from eBay and eagerly waiting for the package to arrive.

Will let you know if it works or not. If somebody cares

I tried this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s00_i00) with my OEM iPod connection cable. I've got 2004 with business CD. It didnt' work for me. The OEM cable I have works on firewire (12v) so I bought a 12V to 5V converter adapter made by Alpine (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o01_s00_i00).

Anyways, the Alpine converter box works fine, I used it today on my way to work with my old iPod.

And the bluetooth receiver works fine in my Bose Sounddock. But the Bluetooth receiver doent work in my car. It lights up, so its getting power, but the Business CD head unit doesn't recognize the receiver. it just says "NO MAGAZINE" when i select AUX in, as I normally would.

Back to the drawing board for me to figure out best way to integrate my new iPhone.
