FS: E39 1999 528i Touring, low miles, very clean

Hey folks, I've been more active on here with my E46 ZHP but we've also been owners of this great E39 touring wagon. Now I need to sell it due to medical reasons. My wife came down with meningitis/encephalitis and is having some lingering neuromuscular problems, making her unable to drive.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the car. We've only had it for a year and I expected to keep it a long time, so it was completely baselined, reviewed for issues, and everything fixed. But it's completely stock condition so it would be a good mod project or just drive it as is and enjoy it.

It's an automatic. A wonderfully shifting, smooth automatic. That allows you to do whatever you want with your right hand and left foot. Maybe you want to use that free hand to paint your left foot's toenails? Or do a version of the Hokey Pokey? Or be thankful you don't need to shift during heavy stop and go traffic? Or, you know, swap for a manual when you feel like it.
