I'm going to try a slightly wider stance next time and see if that increases the amount of weight that I can dead lift.

The wider you are the less distance you have to pull which essentially makes it easier. I try to go for shoulder width which looks pretty narrow. A bit more than his I think.

I'm using a neutral/shoulder width stance, so it looks fairly narrow as well.

I know me personally I do 5x5 and after I get to the last 2 set's over 300, I'm sweating my ass off and the bar slides out of my hand. So it's not necessarily strength, it's just actual sweat messing me up.

For a reasonably athletic person, I don't think bicep tears are going to be an issue unless you intend on getting into the 500+ club.
I almost feel weird doing over/over. Over/Under feels so much more natural.

Nice, that was my PR like 6 months ago when I maxed out. Haven't deadlifted since before summer. I do a little wider than shoulder width.

Between you and BreakMyWallet, you guys make us look bad. I was starting to feel good about my 170 lb. front squat until I saw this. LOL! What's the total weight that you PR'd today?

I'm pretty happy guys. Three weeks ago I couldn't get 315 lbs. off of the floor. Tonight I cleared 315 lbs. for 3 reps and 325 lbs. for 3. Huge improvement for me.

I performed the following sets:

2 sets of 225 lbs. x 10
1 set of 295 lbs. x 5
1 set of 305 lbs. x 5
1 set of 315 lbs. x 3
1 set of 325 lbs. x 3

....all very clean without breaking form.

Haha. I guess you were right. It's funny because although 3 plates and a couple of nickels aren't much for our resident heavy lifters here, 325 lbs. attracts a lot of gym attention. I wont be happy until I can keep up with our heavy hitters. LOL!

my 5 rep set will be 275 on friday. I maxed at 345 at a cf comp over the summer. My form was probably pretty sh1tty during that lift. I try to increase my 5 rep set by 5lbs per week.

Good stuff! I'm going to shoot for 350 lbs. for 3-5 reps my next dead lift session. Front squats are coming soon. I'm shooting for 190 lbs.
