Re: NJ- 02 M3 Topaz/Black, sunroof delete, SMG, super clean

I accepted a job offer in California and decided it would be best to sell the M to make things easier for myself for the move. I do not have to sell, and if I do not get my asking price, I have no problems installing cats and shipping the car. The title is free and clear in my possession. I am a mature and responsible car enthusiast and although it was never babied, it has been driven... never been launched, with infrequent S6 mode usage or redline shifting, etc., but I have taken the car to a track day at NJMP last August. Here are the details.. This is one of the cleanest M3's I've ever seen. It will definitely be missed if it sells. If it doesn't I will have the pleasure of owning it for longer. It is also one of the most aggressively stanced M3's in NJ yet it rides very smoothly.

The car:

2002 M3 104,xxx miles
-SMG- never had an issue, no SES or Cog lights, etc., shifts perfectly.
-Topaz Blue exterior, only paint imperfections are minor paint chips on the front bumper, an almost imperceptible ding on the rear quarter panel, and minor chips on the edge of the trunk. The paint shines very well.
-Black Nappa leather interior with heated, WIDTH, lumbar, and memory. The seats are about 9.5/10.. it has the least amount of bolster wear I've seen on a car that's not new.
-Bi-xenon headlights.
-OEM Sunroof-delete.
-HK Sound system.

Maintenance:

-Inspection II up to date, at 102,xxx miles, performed by tonggi. (Inspection II was performed at 84,xxx miles at Bimmer Clinic- as well as new diff seals, and PS hose. Rod bearing recall done. I am very anal with maintenance. The car needs nothing.
-Oil changed at every 5k increments with Castrol TWS
-Complete cooling system overhaul including new radiator, water pump, hoses done at 102,xxx. receipts available.
-Vanos bolts and hub replaced at 102,xxx by tonggi. No more fear of Vanos issues.
-Rear subframe reinforced with TMS kit.
-Full alignment done at 103,xxx at Northeast Motorsports.
-ZCP brakes all around with ~4k miles, Motul 600 fluid used.
-Just passed NJ inspection, sticker is good for another 2 years. This car is ready to go.. all maintenance, preventative maintenance, etc has been completed. PPI's always welcomed, at YOUR expense.

Upgrades:

-BMW CSL/Mini Lightweight Battery
-CSL Style Rear Diffuser (FUCY)
-VCSL 1x1 Carbon Center Console
-OEM Alcantara SMG & Ebrake Boots
-OEM Alcantara SMG knob and Ebrake handle
-Euro Front Bumper
-Lamin-X yellow fogs
-18x10, 18x12 CCW Classics, completely refinished, no damages whatsoever
-245/35, 285/30 Bridgestone S04 Pole Position tires ~1000 miles, these are some of the best tires you can buy... it performs on par with Michelin Super Sports- the only reason I didn't buy those were bc they didn't make it in my sizes! PLease note that because of the super aggressive fitment, the letters were rubbed off due to making contact with the fenders... it is only cosmetic and was already determined by several mechanics that it is not catastrophic.
-Stoptech SS Brake Lines
-OEM ZCP crossdrilled rotors all around ~4000 miles
-TMS Underdrive Pully Set
-Hotchkis Sway Bars
-KW V2 suspension
-Borla Muffler, AR20 welded in sect 1 (by Maximum PSI), stock sect 2, Meanone headers.
-PF Subframe Bushings
-PF Rear RTABS
-PF Front FCABS
-RE RSM’s
-OEM BMW LED Taillights
-Evolve R catless tune
-20% Tint on all windows

Disclosures:

The car was in a minor front end hit in a parking lot which required a new bumper and hood from the prev owner. It was a slow speed hit, there was no frame damage or airbag deployment. The work was performed very well. Then early this year, the same thing happened to me.. another slow speed incident that required replacing the front bumper, hood, and blending of the fenders. Again there is no frame damage or airbag deployment. The work was performed by Ultimate Collision in Edison and the results were flawless.

Price/Options:
I am VERY FIRM at $19,950 which includes everything listed above. That is $19,950, not $19,949.. I will send you home to get me that dollar. Don't want the wheels? No problem, I have a set of OEM 18" squared with no curb rash or bends shod with Blizzaks. This option brings the price down to $17,950, VERY FIRM. In some of the pictures u will see a Dynavin Android. That is not included. The business CD will be. If you want the Dynavin, add $550 to either one of the options above. I don't have the time or patience to haggle and I've set the price reasonably IMHO to avoid giving each other brain damage.

Payment and test drives:

No test drives will be given without CASH or certified check in MY hand. Time is of the essence and I can not entertain tire kickers. Or someone that needs to look at a few others- take a look at those and come to me last. Make sure you already have your wife's permission and a parking spot available too.

Option 2, without the CCW's:

Sorry to see you go Tony. Gruppe Titan will miss you also. If the car makes it over to Cali I can tell you it will fit in just right the way it's looking now. You may even enjoy it more with the nice roads and weather. Anyways, good luck!

Thanks for the kind words... I secretly wish that it would make it over to Cali lol.. I won't be driving for about 6 months, so we'll see if it sells in that time. If not, I'm taking her with me... and looking forward to that!

Agreed, I've noticed that it's a pretty rare feature... I'm usually the only M with the sunroof delete at a show.

Forgot to mention, car was Opti-coated. Converted to Macht Schnell 75mm wheel studs and has OEM back-up sensors. And, Absolutely NO TRADES.

Sad to see your selling it but Congrats on the new job in Cali! Good luck with everything out there. This car really is as clean in person as it looks in pictures.

If this thing was a stick, I'd be on a plane right now to drive it back!
