Total before putting it on the charger:

Usage 9 hours, 25 minutes
Standby 15 hours, 3 minutes
14% battery remaining
4G and Wifi (no LTE in my area until December)

Edit: what I think is funny is when I click cellular usage and it says:
Current Period 1 hour, 20 minutes
Lifetime 12 Days, 2 hours..... what? haha

I've been seeing how I would do without a screen protector, since I hate them.
Already have one extremely minor scratch on the screen. I've been super careful with it.
Can't wait till they make screens scratch proof

I'm very picky about screen protectors, but the HD screen protector from slickwraps.com was amazing.

My wrap and screen protector should be showing up tomorrow

Apparently, I'm assuming this is carrying over the data usage from my 4.

I'm constantly on wifi at school and home anyways, so I rarely ever use data otherwise.

4 lines on my family plan, including 2 unlimited, almost never exceed 1Gb (average/median around 500MB). Only one or two months have exceeded that limit, and that's usually when we are on the road. One time I tethered off my LTE for a week before I got my cable installed, and I went through 10GB in a couple of days. They started to throttle me pretty hard after 10.

I should note that I use wifi most of the day when I am at home, which is quite often. So if you are on the road a lot, or if you don't connect to your office wifi, you should monitor your data accordingly.

How are you guys getting 7+ hours of usage times? I'm only getting about 5 hours of usage time (80% on LTE the rest on wifi). Where do you guys have your brightness set to?

I'm up to 3gb this month. I've been streaming a lot of pandora at football games/springsteen. Plus I hardly use wifi even when I'm inside my house. I always preferred the extra battery to the slightly faster speed. I'll probably use more wifi now with my 5.

Alright, so let me try to understand this... You hate the iPhone's iOS, but like it only after a jailbreak. BUT even after you jailbreak, which is still iOS + Cydia, what's the difference? It's still running iOS!!

What is the special tweak in Cydia that makes your d!ck hard? Because I must be missing something here...

I got one day where I got about 8 hours of usage time, and today it is 6-7.

I wouldn't worry about people getting more. It really just depends on what you have running in the background. For example, I have 4 push email accounts set up and I am on wifi most of the day.

Battery life is heavily correlated with how strong your signal is. So if you are missing 1-2 bars in your area consistently, then your battery life should suffer.

Just because it is running iOS, doesn't mean it runs/acts/responds like stock iOS.

Have you ever actually really gotten crazy with cydia? Because if you havent, you can literally change everything. Lockscreen info, quick texting, better notifications, and completely different UI. Don't knock it man. It's like having the best of both worlds. The quality hardware of a iPhone but the ability to run whatever you want on it, however you want. And I don't just mean installing a few poorly designed free themes and free paid apps from the app store.

this, especially on a power hungry 4g network. all my phones on tmobile had horrible battery life because of terrible signal.
