I think it's funny when people use screen protectors.

It's not like most of these people clear bra their cars but their love for a pristine iPhone gets excessive.

So now u have this ugly film protector on - oh yes we can tell u have a screen protector - only making your phone sh1ttier.

The phone is $199 ! If u are worried about scratches u have problems!

Buy another screen if need be! Enjoy your screen

Yeah this happened to me, I think the camera and flash wasn't synced.
I restarted the phone and camera/flash synced correctly after.

no scuffs or scratches on mine.
the only common issue I have had, is the purple at the top of a picture when you are under certain lighting.

but my phone restarts randomly.. I have seen it do it 3 times now.. I bet it does it more in my pocket.

and sometimes, I get put onto edge network, or it says 4g and doesn't work right.

It also froze up on me one day and pictures wouldn't load correctly, the camera wouldn't work, etc..

I hope these are just software bugs that can get ironed out in the next update or so..

So an opinion on the looks goes hand and hand with functionality? You must-have installed yours incorrectly because I've used them on all my devices and they never looked like that

Haha. Never! I know what you're saying, though. Some think it's like putting plastic covering on furniture, which preserves it but doesn't really let you enjoy it. But, (as you allude to--sans bubbles) a well applied screen protector is barely even noticeable. I'd rather have to just switch out the screen protector as needed, instead of having to replace the whole screen.

So I'm on iPhone 5 number 3 already. My first one wouldn't charge correctly and my 2nd one had a button issue. Now my 3rd one, which was perfect is marred. I pulled a turn right before a freeway on ramp hard enough that my phone fell from the sun glass holder in front of the shifter and slid below my seat. Awesome.

So, case and screen protectors aside, what do you guys use in terms of carrying the phone?
I mean, a belt case or some such.
Or do you just stick it in your back pocket and hope the case will protect it against you sitting on it?

I'll survive. I'm not going to try to have this one exchanged. All my other issues were manufacturing defects. This time it was my fault. I had 6 iPhone 4's in the 2 years or so since it was released. After a while the little cosmetic blemishes don't bother me. The phone still works perfectly.

One thing though, I've noticed my newest iPhone vibrates when I talk on it. People on the other end can hear something rattling in my phone which resonates with my voice.

It's a known issue. It's the battery inside that's shaking because it's not glue on.
It's been reported that the "geniuses" at the Apple store can fix it.

For one, I've never used zagg, that is not my picture. I have seen 100's of devices with crappy ass zagg protectors... They all get that "ORANGE PEEL" look to them.

More ZAGG:

I mean hey, if you figured out how to do it 'correctly' I'd like to see a picture of it...
