Actually, other people tried to help. You're the only one with an issue

So I never use Wifi, but I left it on last night.. spent most of the day and home and work where it was connected to wifi, and the battery life is back to where it was before I went to 6.0 to 6.1 and jailbroke.
So it appears to be my LTE that is draining my battery.
I am going to turn on LTE tomorrow and try plain 4g.

Can I do a "reset network settings" while jailbroken or will that mess it up and cause me to have to do a restore anyways?

Definitely Apple has the better build quality. Haven't found anything incredibly unreliable with the note 2, but I've only had it for a week or so, so time will tell.Samsung is really plasticky though, I miss the cold feeling of the aluminum of the i5

Jailbreak and use 3G unrestrictor.
That is what I'm doing.
I also use it to download apps that are larger than 50mb.

I still haven't taken the step to jailbreaking my phone. My luck is i could follow the directions completely and i would still brick my phone. With the 6.1.2 update, my battery life is great. Then again i went to the apple store last week and did an out of warranty swap. Home button quit working as did the proximity sensor. Refurbished phone is good for another year to 18 months hopefully. Lol

Installed 6.1.2 and battery issue fixed.
Before, I'd leave a fully charged iphone overnight and in the morning, when the alarm app sounds, it's at 95%.
Today, alarm sounded and it was at 100%. Even now, almost lunch time, it's still at 100%.

Too bad Apple doesn't have the guts to come out and admit that their previous updates screwed up battery.
They claim that 6.1.2 fixes a bug with Exchange, which was causing excessive communications with the iPhone.
BS. I don't use Exchange. Never have.
They must have fixed something else that they screwed up.

I currently use a RAZR MAXX HD. I've considered trying the iPhone 5, now that it's jailbroken, I think I might.

I'm a pretty heavy user and am a bit concerned with battery life and lack of simultaneous Voice/Data on Verizon...

My battery lasts forever, so I don't think that would be a problem
