Yeah, I've got the 4. It blows. Kinda cool on DW's 4S. Moot point anyways once we get our 5's in a couple weeks or whenever they come. We're in no hurry as we're kind of panicking as to how we're gonna protect them when they come when the cases we want aren't out yet. Really don't want to buy a not so cheap temporary case. Plus, waiting for those Chinese factories to start mass producing and shipping the 30pin to Lightning adapters. Too used to paying like $1 each for those kinds of accessories on eBay.

The maps app will be perfect, any Apple user knows that it will be. If you doubt that, then you don't have much trust in the product you bought-So sell it and get an Android phone.

Why do you Android fanboys keep coming back to this thread? Just leave if you don't like the positive things we are saying, learn to bite your tongue a bit.
People use maps every day - be it the subway etc

You fanboys make me sick.

Apple should have never released their maps. It was Strickly political not to the user's benefit.

Apple is f'ing customers over.

Wake up and stop drinking the Koolaid.

Not nearly as detailed as Google.

Google has had years of experience under their belt refining the maps, hence the detail. Apple is making their own, from new information they're obtaining and from bits that they purchased.

So the whole argument that "Apple is sometimes not the first to market because they wait for things to work well before putting it out there" is not true?

How do you know this is all Apple's choice? They know more than anyone the capabilities of their own app and the twitter hellfire it would cause.

You tell me. I'm just relaying information. I'm loyal to no one. A phone is a phone is a phone.

Yea, for people with a 4 running ios 6, this will at least get them navigation, since it's terrible otherwise.

Maybe not in this case. According to the quote Amoeba posted, Google wouldn't license the navigation API (playing apple at their own game). I still would assume it was Apple's decision to jump ship on the maps that Google was licensing though.

That's what's annoying: it exists already, but isn't available for iPhones.
