New rear tires every 2k miles please help

So i have to get new tires every 2-4k miles im sooo tired of it need help...... i have a 01 m3 1.5 inch drop in front 1.3 in the rear.... had it aligned numerous times and tires never last.... ive worked for the tire industry and know allot about tires... every time i take my tires off i can see that the wear is from tires being towed in so i guess my question is should tow specs be different from oem since the car is lowered?????????

How is the wear on your rear trailing arm bushings? When you brake does it pull to the left or right? Does the car feel unstable at high speeds 65-75 mph? Try to give us more info, other than your tires are wearing fast and you know about tires

It kinda sways at high speed and everyonce in a wgilr when i hit a bump it jerks kinda like loosing traction in the rain when hittin a puddle or sum **** pretty sure ots my sway bar end links i already ordered installing tomorrow but i cant see how that could be wearing tires

I'm lowered about the same, I know I has to adjust me tow from stock, which system do you use for balancing? Try to go to a place who knows lowered cars and uses that brand new laser paddle system, i don't know the name of the system but it's all done by lasers, I'll see
If I can can find my alignment specs and show you my tow, I have about the same drop. Also what size wheels and tires are you running? That will make a difference as well

I run 18' wheels 225/40-18 fronts 265/35-18 rears the place that aligns my car uses lasers but i dont think they know **** bout lowered cars i just kno the guy and he does it for free

My goodness, this thread is full of trash. OP, replace the rtabs and fcabs and don't have your car aligned to OEM specs when the suspension is no longer OEM. After you replace the rtabs & fcabs, buy a new set of tires and have the alignment custom tailored to what you need, which is -1.2-1.5 camber (adjustment depends on your offset/tire setup) in the rear, 0 toe up front and right at, or less than .2 total toe-in in the rear (.05-.1 per side). The rtabs are what's killing you, I'd bet money.

How many miles on the car? It might be time to replace the RTABS. I had this problem with my car (going through tires) you should order some and have them replaced. If your ok mechanically you should be able to do them yourself. Just look at a few DIYs. If you have any questions let me know.

Not talking trash, just entertaining myself, that's all. RTAB's are rear trailing arm bushings. FCAB's are front control arm bushings. At 120k, they need to all be replaced along with the diff bushings and all that jazz. Unless of course they have already been done.

Now thats better thanks for the help by the ways u by any chance know oem specs compared to what u told me i wanna make sure i tell the guy who aligns it the right things... car has all aftermarket suspension meaning control arms springs shocks only part thats still stock is sway bars so i think alignment should fix problem

You may want a little toe in the front. I'd go with total front toe of .1. About .2 in the rear. Front camber and caster are not adjustable. Rear camber -1.5 - 2 is fine.

As long as the toe is even and steering wheel is straight, 0 toe provides better tire wear, easier steering and perfect tracking, provided your rtabs are in good shape

So replaced my rtabs got car aligned went thru 2 sets of rear tires since maybe a total of 6k miles??? Any other ideas
