I have never even heard of a 'Land Cruiser" before. Saw one today at a dealership, so awesome. All the luxuries of a range rover or a GL550 with out looking like a pha g got .

I want one.

I just checked toyota's website, and the interesting thing is that the Land Cruiser and the LX570 both start around the same price +/- 2000 I think.

Why would anyone choose the Land Cruiser? Is it tougher? I always thought they were supposed to be the same car with more luxurious stuff on the LX.

One of the first cars I drove was a Land Cruiser. Didn't matter what I did, it got 14mpg. Freeway? 14. stop and go? 14. It was also indestructible, though it didn't like getting water in the distributor, seals went bad.
