Feeler: Canon 24-70 i
I'll probably be picking up version II of Canons lens pretty soon. The lens was purchased in 2009 from Abes of Maine. I'll upload some pictures of the lens tomorrow. Reasonable offers will be entertained.

Purchased version II today, haven't had time to really put it through its paces, but I will say its noticeably lighter and sharper throughout the range. Tested 2 copies in the store. Offers are welcome for my version I lens, in excellent condition, with all original accessories, including the box.

I'm still debating on whether to save for the II or just get the I.
I just need the focal length for when I do events. |

The II is a better lens, but the difference isnt night and day.

That's the box it was shipped in from Abe's of Maine. I'm not aware of the 24-70 ever being included as part of a package.

so the new version of the 24-70 is worth the money over the original version?
having a hard time deciding on which lens to go with also looking at the 24-105L as well
