Any Half-Life fans? Black Mesa remake finally finished!

The remake Black Mesa: A Half-Life 2 modification that's been in development for YEARS is finally releasing in a few hours! The remake is from the original Half-Life that came out in 1998! Its free too. The Half life series is one of my top favorite games ever. Here is the website and trailer!

The original H-L was The game that finally got me to play and enjoy FPS back in 1999... (and only because a friend of mine got it for me from the bargain bin, ha.)
Before that I just couldn't get into any of those other FPSs, ie: Doom, Quake, Unreal because they all caused me nausea and a "stiff"-screen motion sickness.

I remember this group of BlackMesa devs starting on this MOD, back in 2004... amazing how time flies. Glad it's done. I'll be downloading it in 40 minutes!

I am currently downloading...so what all is needed to run this? Something about Source SDK Base 2007, but I can't find it online. I installed Steam....is that enough?

NOTE: it's about 4GB+ so don't try this at work, your IT dept may notice...

Not surprised that their site's down, I imagine there's a lot of traffic right now. Lol, thankfully I think it'll all be gone by the time I get home after my last class.

Also, I HEARD that the ending of this game is different from the original. Not sure if that's true/how altered the ending is....
I never beat any of them. I got far in the 1st one but lost my file because I had to restore my computer a while back.
