Depends, I generally put in automatic when stuck in traffic...which is a daily event. However on the weekends when I more open road to play with I'll use the paddles. Hardly ever use the stick.

I use the paddles or stick interchangeably, depending on what kind of driving I'm doing. (and paddle position in corners).

+2. In town it is more about changing the SMG setting rather than stick or paddle but absolutely never ever ever ran it in automatic. Primarily I use the paddle shifters but occasionally I use the stick.

I hate the automatic mode. It's like someone who just learned how to drive a stick is deciding when to shift.

I usually downshift with the left paddle and upshift with the stick.

So rare when I use Auto mode when I drive around town I stick to the shifter but when I'm in a canyon I use the Paddle.

Auto, occasionally. If i feel like being lazy, or if im driving somewhere at like 4am, and im too tired to want to even think about shifting.

Paddles, A lot. Basically my preferred method. And I have the larger Aluminum eBay paddles, which make Shifting 10000x better.

Stick, I only use the stick when Im driving and not doing much thinking about gears and RPM, etc. ie: I take off from a light, running up to 3-5k and shifting. It's a natural instinct.

I use paddles all the time only use stick for netural to start and reverse,I try different shift all the time to see what revs you get the smoothest shift, I found out you have to sit closer to the stering wheel when using the paddles

I love how these SMG drivers didnt know about auto mode. What did you think happened when you pushed it all the way to the right, or that D meant on the top of the shifter.
