Guns...what NOT to do...

Sad, but it really is hard to feel bad for the guy...

Cliffs....

Guy wants to show gun to friends.
Guy removes magazine
Guy points the gun at his head and pulls the trigger.
Gun had a round chambered.

There is a reason why you never point a gun at something you don't plan on destroying.

Sad to say, darwin strikes again.

Darwin for sure....I mean, checking the chamber is the FIRST thing you learn about a gun.

Horrible...these things happen though when you let your guard down and don't have proper discipline and common sense.

I lost a good friend in college to a firearm accident. He was NAVY ROTC and he was a great guy, but he went to clean his rifle one day at his house and didn't properly clear it...was in the middle of cleaning it and shot himself in the head looking down the barrel to see how dirty it was. still miss the guy

A couple of years ago a motocross forum guy disappeared and a couple of weeks later his wife came on to explain what happened to him.

He was cleaning his gun and fired a round that ricocheted off his kitchen sink struck him in the neck. Died on the spot.
