OEM xenon headlight to P46

i have a friend who wants to change there headlights from the OEM xenon to aftermarket p46

Only reason he wants to do this is because all oem parts cost over 1k for the headlights

will there be any problems with this?

1k if purchasing the complete set (2 headlights) from dealer. Can get almost all parts online for much, much less. Your friend will basically downgrade

What exactly is the problem?

^ I agree, tell them to buy a good used pair. you want the leveler motors to work.

If his lights aren't completely smashed in and have nothing mechanically wrong, then slap him and tell him no.
