e46 coupe ashtray cover?

hi guys,
can I replace only ashtray cover on 2001 coupe or I need whole console?

whole lower console or repaint it. the cover part is not sold by itself.

sorry no.
but you can take that console out and then tape and paint.
if you're one of those who doesn't car about overspray fumes, you could paper and tape all around it and paint in the car since it's such a small area. not something i would do but others do.

There was a thread on here of someone using plastidip to fix the scratches on all the plastic pieces around the center console. I'm too lazy to search for it for you.

Yeah, just take off the transmission shifter cover off and then 4 screws and pull it out. If you take the lid off the ash try it is a massive pain to get back on.
