Thank you sir! I'm enjoying the hell out of this car.

HT10s ftw

On car

After a little break, time to flush and bleed, baby.

Super blue and pressure bleeder FTMFW

Doneski

Front HT10s borrowed from a friend's E36 M3. Did you know the 330i, E36 M3 and E46 M3 all share the same front pad shape? Now you know.

Car is now ready for Laguna Seca this Wednesday. Had fun bedding in the pads, much to my victim's.... I mean passengers' dismay last night. Don't mind the diff fluid.

Haha. Yeah I'm trying to clean it up... a little.

So yesterday was post trackday maintenance.

Here's what happens when you track 300 treadwear tires hard.

Pulling exhaust to inspect driveshaft... I've got a wobble on the highway

Holy **** that is clean

Giubo, CSB and u joints seem in good shape. Hopefully it's my diff bushings.

Draining trans fluid.. it was a bit nasty. 97k on the same fluid will do that. Remember to make sure to remove the fill plug before you drain the trans, just in case.

Pentosin MTF2 going in

Fill 'till spill

This $4.50 kragen "pump" is awesome and way better than the horrible $10 push pumps you find. Just make sure you get most of the fluid out.

Exhaust back in

Sayonara CDV!

You're history you little bastard

5W40 Lubri Moly. Yeah I tried the cool guy way without a funnel and made a mess. Luckily shop towels are aplenty.

Swapping back to stock pads... if you have a pry bar there is a very easy way to remove the rattle clips. Just pry against rotor and pull the rattle clip off.

That's it for this weekend. She's happy.
