I saw it fly over down in Irvine when I was at lunch around 1pm. Pretty cool.

Glad so many were able to watch. Would love to see a trace of the actual path they took.

We will miss the shuttle program. At the end we took it for granet.

There were times we did not even walk outside to see her launch.

Feel kinda guilty now.

Will never forget the sonic booms that would shake my house in the middle of the night when she landed.

i went to griffith observatory to watch the shuttle fly over
it made two passes
one right overhead (got shots of the plane from underneath which doesn't look very cool), looped around to go over the hollywood sign and then came back for another fly by

my shot
wtb longer zoom ...

friend's shot
makes it look like a triple decker
i think she used a x-200mm lens

SOOOOOOOOO worth the traffic and the crowds. Decided to see it at the Griffith Observatory - where eles huh....

There was so many emotions going through the crowd, lots of cheers and tears. Took my kids to see something they will never ever forget. God Bless AMERICA!

Saw your map and heard from my neighbor that the damn thing fly RIGHT by my apt.

Anyway, it was pretty hazy in LB and I'm not a great photographer, but here are some incredibly average pics I took:
