Question Reno or Sparks, NV fanatics

I'll be moving to Sparks, NV soon (from Toronto, Canada)... and will be driving my E46 M3. Does anyone know what the process is to have my car registered in that state? I'm assuming the usual- bill of sale, ownership & lien search. Anything else?
Thanks in advance.

Good question when I brought my M in from CA to Reno I had to smog it and have a VIN inspection at DMV, but that was about it. Not too time consuming but I'd recommend doing it on an off day like Wednesday, since the lines seem to be much shorter on less popular days.

Thanks for chiming in vonbimmer. I will definitely be doing these on an off day. I heard all the warnings about dmv lines. I'll be situated in Sparks by fall. I hope I meet fellow fanatics over there as well.

While I have lots of experience USA to Canada, going the other way
has certain rules as well. I have attached a website you might want to look at. Of note is changing the speedo to read in MPH. USA speedos have MPH and KM on them, Canadian only have KM. That is biggest item I noticed but I only looked for 5 minutes. If your car came from the USA into Canada, them taking it "Home" would probably be easy!

Note: Most info on the net is to import to Canada. Why not sell your car and buy another in Reno. They are cheaper in the USA.
