Hello please help

Hi! For about a month now i have been the proud owner of my very first BMW. A 2002 330ci. Thanks to this site a week ago I was able to figure out why my vert too wasnt working prooerly and fix it for less than $5! So now I have some questions I camt find answers to and since it appears this community is smarter than I am I am going to beg for help.

I did not get the right manual so please dont refer me to the manual.

My first question is can someone please tell me how to synch the buttons on my rearview mirror with my garage door. Also is the red bubble looking thing an alarm and if so is that an option because it appears mine doesnt work.

It appears that I should have hands-free phone use but I am unsure how to set this up.

I was given two keys, they look the same and both work manually opening the doors and starting the car. However, one doesnt not remotely do anything and neither of them will remotely put down the top as I told they would. Any ideas on how to get them working properly would be great!

I am also a recent noob to with a 2004 convertibel, so I will answer best I can.
Point 1 : i don't know
Point 2 : the red light under the rearview mirror is for the optional alarm. On the inside ofmyour trunk lid you should have some plastic plugs/tags. You should see pre-wired alarm. That would mean that your car can have a factory alarm installed, but probably does not and that's why the light is not working.
Point 3 : DSC, dynamic stability control...helps you maintain the car on the road in bad situations...designed to help avoid certain accidents
Point 4 : hands free...same as alarm...should see a plug under trunklid for pre-wired bluetooth, unless its already installed, you would need to purchase the bluetooth module.
Point 5 : FOB keys batteries recharge while in ignition. If one is dead try using it to operate the vehicle for an extended time to recharge it.
Point 6 : top won't go down with key as per factory settings. You can alter that setting with reprogramming ECU. You would need a cable and software to do so.

Hope this helps clear a few things up for ya!
