Wide body coming soon!!!
This Monday im taking my car to L.A. to finally get the wide body. I just got done taking apart my three piece wheels and putting the new outer barrels on and silicone. That job is painstaking!! haha. I hate rivets!! Unlike most people putting huge lips on the rear and next to nothing on the front (which I think looks a little goofy to me) I decided to keep the front dish close to my rear. I have close to 5 inch in the front and a little bigger than 6 in the rear. Just put MT drag radials on the rears an some cheapies in the front. I will have my car back in 3 weeks with pictures.

Nice! can't wait to see the end results
![]() So how wide are your fronts/rears? are you widening the front? If so are you going to widen the sideskirt area? I was thinking of widening my front so I can have a bigger front lip as it sucks having a 3.5" rear lip and 1.5" front like you said... but CCW advised they could not build bigger lips as then my brembos would not clear... they were right as im damn close with my current setup... but im not sure if you have stepped lips or not as that makes a difference... what brand rims too?

It's RWD so bigger lip in the rear is normal of course not 4x4 and that would look goofy same lip all around.

Damn 11 inch fronts, that's insane! Your going to need wide ass front fenders like the flossman ones but then the side skirt has to get tied into the rear quarter/front fender which IMO is the same as getting a bulky off the shelf kit... Can't wait to see it none the less it may give me some ideas for widening my front haha

And for anyone who hasnt seen my car I pride myself on having a clean looking car. No color matching wheels (no pun to those that do), no flat matte bull@$&t! Just simple and clean.

remember simple and clean is relative. some people prefer matte finish over chrome. what kind of hood is that on your car?

Yea I tend to stay away from trends. Polished wheels will always be around. Nothing wrong with it though, I just tring to stay away from that robo cop look. Lol. My hood was done from my body guy here in Cali. Crazy most people don't catch my hood because it was meant to be subtle.

I agree with Mf3stPlus 11" in Front & 12" in the rear probably will look like an Animation. I too have a BBK front and rear so choosing the right wheel up front is crucial. too large of a Lip and you won't clear the BBK. also may have rubbing issues and will probably need spacers. i run 9.5 fr 10.5 rears / 245/35 fr 295/30 Rears, Lowered and i forgot what my camber is set at but im good. not a Fan of wide body kits either but its my opinion, that doesn't mean i do not wish you the best.. i wonder how your new set up will handle on a track?

Can't wait to see how it comes out! I wonder what offset your works will be....why dont you go a little more wider in the back? I'm running 11.5 on a mildly pulled stock rear fender.
I too am going widebody and going to have HRE rebarrel my wheels to possibly 11' up front and 14' wide rear. And ya I'm that guy going for the matte exterior color haha Anyhow good luck! Can't wait to see progress and/or finished pics
