335 considering subframe issues?
Hello,
I haven't bought a BMW yet but I'm very close. I am trying to make the final decision now between an e46 M3, which I think is my first choice, or a much newer 335. I've been around the forums and it seems this is a common dilemma. I am not really trying to start another long argument about the pros and cons of each. I fully intend to track the thing and I have all but decided on the M3. There is just one potential deal breaker...the subframe thing scares the heck out of me and E46s are getting old. How common is this and what should I look for when purchasing? If I find one that hasn't had the "recall" done will BMW still do it...etc? I understand there is a lot of info out there about this already. Maybe someone could point me to a few good links or threads. |

thanks...fyi I purchased the M3. I've had it for about 6 months now. Tracked it once and autocrossed it plus take it to work every now and then. This is an awesome car...no regrets so far.
