02 325i A arm question
I found out today the ball joint has play in it on pass side but I have not took it off yet can i replace just the ball joint or replace the whole A arm and whats a good replacement without breaking the bank

The ball joint is not individually replaceable.

The ball joint can't be replaced on an original Lemforder, but you might not have an original arm. Meyle HD arms have replaceable ball joints.
I considered those but ended up staying OE...as I almost always do. There are cheaper CAs around (Febi/bilstein makes some), but IDK...in the long run, cheaper arms might end up costing more. Oh, you can get meyle HDs with ca bushing mounted already, which makes replacement easier on you. Usually, when removing CAB from CA, you'll mess up the CAB...in case you didn't know.

Thanks again i went ahead and ordered control arms bushing and sway links from Bavarian Autosport
