Well **** me

My car usually sits at home in the garage when I'm at work. I walked home today to find my car next to my parents car, with them IMPROPERLY ****ING JUMPER CABLING THEIRS. I Was like WHAT THE **** DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!?!?

Upon closer inspection my ****ing AC-S front strut bar is HALF MELTED THROUGH because my asshole parents let the battery spark ALL OVER IT. MY ****ing ENGINE chokes at startup, and they let the ****ING JUMPER CABLES scrape the HELL out of the cars paint on the front fenders.

To top it off they won't pay for it now. On account of "they raised me, so I owe them." (I payed for the car, and every single mod, insurance and everything, not a penny of their money went to it.)

I am so ****ing pissed right now, I'm about to explode.

How did they mess up the front of your car if the battery is in the trunk? Do you have an E46?

There is a battery terminal in the front. They knocked the stupid clamps from the cables all over the fenders when trying to hook them on. When it shorted out it MELTED my AC-S strut tower bar also. I am so POed...

dude, are you asian?

sounds like something my parents would do/say...

in a way they did help you get the car since if they didn't raise you and teach you right, i'm sure you wouldn't have gotten the job that paid for your car. i wouldn't take thier money to fix the car even if they offered...

sucks though...i feel for you man, but don't call your parents assholes.

Dude sorry to hear that!.
Once my VP had to jump his old medevial toyota(when they used to come in awd)and he jumps from my 97 Honda Civic.
anywho he does'nt ground the negative but connects +ve from my battery to his +ve and -ve to -ve.
You should have seen the sparks comning out. My engine was lighting up all over and he says trust me i know this, that's how it is done in Netherlands. (He is dutch). Luckily he starts his car after like 15 seconds and it starts and he walks away.
since then i swear i would never jump from my car.
check your OBC and all that, hopefully the power surge did not damage anything.

That is complete B.S. I cannot believe your parents would ever do something like that to your car and not offer to pay for any damage. That is just plain wrong on so many levels. Sorry to hear it!

(maybe you should break something equally valuable of theirs! Well, maybe not, but I know i'd be tempted).

You can't edit the subject line completely in vBulletin. It's a bug in the software you can edit your subject, and it will appear correctly in the thread, but the header that gets written into the topic database remains unchanged. You'd have to play in SQL to fix it I think.

Two simple things:

1) have them replace EVERYTHING they damaged (unless they are paying for everything already...)

2) MOVE OUT DAMNIT!
