As Mike has precluded to, we are searching for different, more efficient fueling options. E85 is one of them. The main issue with pump "e85" is the inconsistent ethanol percentage from pump to pump. The solution here is a flex fuel sensor which scales the fuel and timing bases on the percentage of ethanol in the mix. This is no simple task for a vehicle that was never slated to run on E85.

I am going to start another thread, but I will announce it here as well.

We are searching for an SMG M3 for an in house install. If you have been waiting for the kit, this is a good opportunity to become one of the first owners of a stock DME, Turbocharged, 470 whp capable E46 M3!

If you are interested please call, or email me!

Thanks for the feedback Luke, glad its still something you guys are willing to consider.

I wish my car was SMG (not really haha) ive been following this production for the past 18 months! Been a huge fan of Maximumpsi and nickG even during my e36 M3 days. Someone with an SMG jump on this, definitely a great opportunity to be one of the first.

Cant you just make a conservative tune. say 50% and still make alot more power then 93 pump.

I could be blind, but has there been any talk of a price point? I assume they're waiting until the release date to announce the price, but my axious-ness made me ask this question.

Yes. We currently have three six speed cars in house. We need an SMG to finalize the hardware and software for the SMG cars.

Here is a quick snap shot of one of the four exhaust options we are going to offer:

The four options are as follows:

1) Non catted, stock exhaust placement tie in (pictured)
2) Catted, stock exhaust placement tie in
3) Non catted, full 3" exhaust (for additional cost)
4) Catted, full 3" exhaust (for additional cost)

The full 3" Exhaust system should pic up a nice chunk of power. We will be doing some testing on this system as well as our catted stock exhaust tie in soon. Stay tuned for results.

We are also trying to make it to the 1/4 mile this Saturday to get some real world results. The black top never lies!!!

Hey Guys!

Got another update for you. We finalized the kit install on one of our Customer's car and got it on the dyno. This is a 2004 E46 M3.

This makes it car number 2!!

Here is the dyno graph on our Superflow Dyno (it reads ~5% lower than a dynojet):

Here's a quick video (sorry its so dark!)

Also, we just got our in house SMG install. We will be doing a full install thread to track progress! It is a beautiful example of an E46 M3, owned by a fellow e46fanatics member. I will be posting up pictures of the car tomorrow.
