Oil light

Whenever I start my car the orange oil light (I believe) stays on for about 2 minutes then goes away. Anyone experience this issue also? All filters and oil are new if that means anything.

You need to replace your oil level sender next time you change oil.

Common issue on E46. The sensor still works just fine (If you actually do end up having an issue), you just get the light at startup. Mine stays on for about 30 seconds. Best to replace if you get a chance.
