Good Start?

Hey everyone,
This is my personal thread to track all the changes I'm doing to my 2005 e46 325i. It's gonna be a pretty slow going process, and i'm not going to do anything really special, but i'll be posting a lot of pictures of my progress. Critiques and comments are more than welcome!

First, heres a picture of my car the first day i got it. Everything stock.

I did a little bit of detailing that first weekend just to get to know her.

I'm adjusting some of the small details on the exterior to my liking. I've added some smoked out tails + corners + side markers, carbon fiber hood and trunk emblems, some cheapy pie LED angel eye rings, and a matted black grill.

I especially like the way the tail lights kind of match the same silver grey as my paint.

I'm currently looking for the M Tech II body kit next, then some rims.

Thanks! Yea so far i've noticed that i'm one of the few fanatics that prefer the smoked corner signal lights. I'm leaning more towards a two-tone look with everything either being a matted black, or silver grey. I think by staying away from all the flashy colors to get attention, i will be able to get the same effect by being very monotone while keeping it classy. Thats just my taste i guess. Inspired by zhp43867's old 325i shown below for your viewing pleasure

Next: I've switched out the interior bulbs for some LED's. Not as bright as i want them to be but overall I'm pretty happy with the color, as it goes with my two-toned/mono-toned look. The wood trim looks very out of place in this car, I'm thinking some silver carbon fiber replacements will be coming in the near future.

CF BMW emblems = +1 horsepower and increase your chances of getting laid by 1%. Its a nice touch.

Good start for sure! smoked corner has been rocked for a while, that's why some fanatics are going back to clears and Amber.

Thanks djnekkon!

Oh i see, I was wondering why i didnt see a lot of smoked corners. I really like them so far, i think it helps distinguish my E46 from the ones i see rolling around in my small community here in Vilseck, Germany, and there are a lot of them as you've probably already imagined. Being in Bavaria and all.

Thanks betik!

I got my lights from eBay haha. I just moved to Germany and its a lot more difficult than you might expect to find a tuning store around where i live.

Here's a link:
