Best Manager to setup iPod for Intravee II?

I have too many songs / folders. I need something I can build playlists to organize it that way.

I don't really have any experience with iPods/iTunes so I am not sure what's the best solution. iTunes just doesn't seem to be flexible...I can't point it to look at a different folder than my 'Music Library'.

I have Media Monkey I just downloaded, but I figured I'd ask here first before I spend time setting it up if there is a better product out there.

iTunes can build playlists. Intravee also has a song limit for playlists. The limitations are really a shame. I am not really sure of what you're trying to do?

iTunes can load music from wherever you want, just tell it not to store all the music in the Music Library (Edit -> Preferences, Advanced uncheck "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library", then add files or folders from anywhere on your PC/Network.

iTunes Playlists are a doddle to setup, you can use Smart Playlists to create Playlists based on criteria (All artists begining with 'A' between 1990 and 2000, in the 'Rock' Genre or some such), or just right click songs and add them to a playlist manually.

I'm not saying iTunes is best, but it's not hard to create Playlists with.
