Please Help with Stereo!

Hi guys,

So I want to get rid of the factory nav in my e46 M3. Its lost some pixels and I hate that I dont have aux capabilites to select my music. Its honestly all I need. So I was thinking of buying this http://www.ebay.com/itm/PIONEER-FH-X...&forceRpt=true. What do you guys think? Will it fit? Do I need anything for install? I just want something pretty basic.

Thanks for the help!

It's hard to say because each unit is different in the back and some have clearance issues. One thing for sure, since that is a double din unit you will have to relocate your HVAC one slot lower to where the sunglass holder is.

Yes and No.

Yes, check the depth and make sure you will be able to fit in in as there are some issues with some units. Almost every pioneer in-dash nav I looked into wouldn't have a problem.

No, he will not have to move the HVAC because if you have the HK system with the nav then it should already be in the right location. What you will need is a bracket and bezel and an extensions bus cable. I did some research I found the only decent looking bezel was 150 plus 30 for the bracket and another 30 for the cable. At the point of paying 210 for parts and another 500 for the in dash, I decided to go Dynavin and keep it clean. 750. Just some info so you know.
