New rims on my 03 E46 325CI

Ive decided that i definitely need to put some new rims on my car its a silver 325 couple and it currently has the OEM rims plasti dipped black. I want to get some new rims im thinking about getting bigger rims about "18 butttt one problem.. I have heard that putting non bmw rims on your bmw weakens the tight handling. In any case heres what im asking
1. Does putting non-BMW rims actually weaken the handling.
2. Which (Black) "18 rims would match.
3. Which OEM BMW rims would match.

Im looking for opinions! Pics would be awesome!

Wrong section. Search for pics, there are literally a ton of them in the wheel section, where this should be.

There is nothing wrong at all with putting aftermarket wheels on your BMW and it will most certainly not adversly effect the ride quality of the car. We have sold hundreds of sets to all different BMW models. One of our most popular sets is the VMR VB3 which comes in matte black! They look great on every application!

1. Wheels are Wheels. Just dont get something heavier than what you have on the car. Go lighter if possible and it will help speed and handling.
2. Everyone on here will say CSL Reps but im not a fan of 18's.
3. Buy the Rims for $650 that the guy also posted in the wrong section a few minutes ago.

I bought these off ebay brand new for $580 shipped and couldnt be any happier. They fit like a dream (no rubbing, no modifications whatsoever)...18 x 8 front (38 offset) and 18 x 9 in the rear (45 offset)...IMO its a perfect look on a silver bmw...

Looks like a replica M3 style wheel and they added a lip...looks good.
