LI: Body shop for paint wanted

Need to find a shop on Long Island, preferably Suffolk, to paint my new bumper. Need to be fair priced and having it done in 1 day is a plus.

Thanks for the replies guys but I went with jboost. Took my bumper to Redline Collision and they treated me good haha

You get what you pay for. $200 is very cheap.

Proper paint job is $400+. MAC will charge you $500 and they do a flawless job.

1 day, forget about it. The paint needs to cure properly.

Its worth the extra $100. MAC painted a bumper for me on a different car 3 years ago. No chips, no drama - still looks fresh.

Its not for everyone but I wouldn't say overrated. Maybe a bit out of some enthusiasts price range.

Sometimes over price I've seen shops do same work as them and def a cheaper price.

Yes but the more expensive job is probably going to withstand the test of time better

MAC is the place to go to. Exceptional quality!

I got my hood painted for 200$ (everybody knows where in Queens). The quality was terrible, then repainted for 300$ in Brooklyn - still far from perfection and the total is already 500$.
I don't think 500 is too much for a proper job.

1 day is not enough, proper prep, paint and curing time takes 2-3 days. Expect to pay $300-350 for a reasonable yet affordable paint job. Anything less and you're going to get cheap thin paint without proper prep.

MAC is where it is, paint is tricky thing to deal with and if not done right, you will see the results not right away. But that goes to show you good marketing, like they say, people would prefer to pay 1.99 vs 2.00 cause that one cent is appealing.
