one thing i would do though, is to remove the non m fender side blinkers. m models have the blinkers built into the side moldings.

In to see the finished product.

To all those who think Fofex is a poser, I get the impression he is doing it so HE can look at his car and like it, rather than cruising around showing it off to others.

People are still getting stuck into him even though he's explained his circumstances re labour vs parts costs etc.

If this forum is going to be global, it really needs to have a world view, and a bit more understanding.

Good luck with it Fofex and keep posting pics.

End result

WELL GUYS I AM READY TO UPLOAD THE END RESULT OF MY PROYECT .

I could not make the quad exhaust because it demanded alot of changes in the back of the car like cutting floor and rearanging some important stuff so i passed on that and only put a flow master with two terminals.

I still have to buy rims but right know i have to save a litle bit in order to get them but here it goes ...

FIRST LETS REMEBER HOW THE CAR WAS ...

1 MONTH LATER AND $2100 AFTER THIS IS THE CAR

Get a ZHP rear bumper and some LED tailights. Then some black window trim and it will look good.

Would've looked a lot better without the M3 grill fenders.

I understand your country's tax regulation prevented you from getting the real thing ... still, that's not the way to go about it.

With the money you've spent, you could've had better wheels, brakes, suspension etc ....

It's not too late! Start by taking those fenders off

Dude don't listen to anyone on here if you like it. Personally, I would love to drive a car that looks like that. One suggestion, maybe get different wheels and lower profile tires. rest is good. Good job mate!

Where's the satisfaction and the fascination of owning a fake? ...

This is beyond just a letter and a number placed in where they're not suppose to.

I'm not asking to flame the poor guy ... but not mislead either!

Who is misleading whom? We all know it is not an M3. OP knows it's not an M3. If he is OK with it, wtf is your problem? The car looks good. And that is all he wanted.

Good front end job but dodgy rear.

Advice
- actually do the exhaust, it's not hard just get them to route it around your spare wheel - plenty of people have done it very easily - they actually make kits for it on eBay if you want.
- upgrade those wheels quickly.
- change your rear bumper and add leds as it honestly looks like you have got the front end of an M3 and stuck it on a regular e46 (well...that's pretty much what you actually did do)
- m3 mirrors
- wrap your window trim in Matt black vinyl wrap or paint them

If you have gone this far man you may as well do it properly and finish it off. Otherwise nice front end work.

My Ride: slower than yours
Despite all the negative comments, building your car to your desires should not offend anybody. Sure, it may not be an M3, but he liked the way it looks, and since that is his desire right now, it is beneficial and the most financially
viable option for where he lives. I personally hate bodywork but comgrats on going through:

Looks good tbh, wider tires, keep 'em low or you'll be even slower.

I tend to agree. I love the idea of an M3 but, it's like being married to a high fashion model; high maintenance. My next best option would be ZHP, M3 without the engine. My budget limited me to a 325Ci with sport seats. Did I mention that it HAD to be a convertible? (My wife's only restriction, but who am I to argure with that?)

btw fofex, your car looks great! Enjoy!

well the front end fits pretty nicely. personally i would have aquired wheels first before making the arches wider.

to mesh it together i'd suggest:
wheels
sideskirts
M3 mirrors
Either M3 bumper or M-Tech

if i had them do that work i would have had them do the "honeycomb M3" hood vent and painted the window trim black.

I like it and good for you op if you are happy with it! People need to get off their high horse. He doesn't have the rear m3 badge on it.
