If the state has evidence you were doing 81 and you present evidence that you couldn't be going that fast from a standstill in the distance involved, any judge with half a brain is just going to assume you rolled the stop sign.

Your defense has a snowball's chance in hell of working. Go ahead and tell the judge that it's impossible to go that fast from a dead stop at that sign. know what he's going to say next? "Provide proof that you stopped."

So you're entire defense against a trained officer and the laws of physics rests solely on something that you can't prove. Sounds terrible to me.

Get a lawyer. Either way you're going to pay royally.
