Bush attended briefings, knew there was a threat to America, and did nothing.

This is so dumb, it doesn't even merit a legitimate response.. and if you can't figure out why it's moronic, than it's hardly worth conversing with you re: politics.

I think Beej is just making the points that with the power of retrospect, we can see warning signs that we could have picked up on, but did not. It isn't anyones particular fault.

But Congress is putting the President on trial here, 26days out from an election. The member from Utah who officially requested the investigation by Congress voted AGAINST increased funding for embassy security this term. Its all a political game.

This is true and your valid, thought out political commentary is appreciated

OK, thats fine, just don't get mad when the Dems play back at you with the 47% crap, or the hypocrisy of making a big speech about foreign affairs and peace in the middle east to the country, while shrugging it off as impossible to your donors.

That's the "hipster plaid" feature. Not a problem.

Seriously. It is literally an inch and a half tall when it's all printed out. Makes for a large PDF file when you save it all, too

When you play the game of oval offices, Lord Stark, you either win, or you die.

Maybe that's why President Obama didn't attend his intel briefings? Some fool at the door couldn't find his name in JPAS.

Every job needs clearances now. I used to just have new hires require child abuse and state police clearances but now we also have FBI finger printing. Thats just to drive school van/bus.
