Manual Radiator in Automatic 323i??!!

Call me crazy but the radiator i pulled out of my car looks like a manual transmission radiator not the automatic transmission radiator.

Automatic 323i 2000.

Picture is of old radiator and the new radiator in the box that i bought. Any Idea what this is about??

I think the difference is only that you take out a plug in one application and not in the other to plug in the transmission cooler.

If it was OE then it comes with two leveling screws, I believe, and you pick the one you need.

If it's Behr, you need to order the proper one for auto or manny trans.

If it's another brand...I have no idea.

It's autozone brand. Not sure which one. Don't really have enough to order an OEM one. Headed to grab a manual radiator To see if that works or not. Will update shortly

Should have shelled out $150 for the BEHR just to be sure.

Call me crazy, but both radiators look old and used. The radiator on the left, looks like an Automatic radiator. It has 3 inlets, 1 for upper radiator hose, 1 for lower radiator hose, and 1 for the A/T cooler. The radiator on the right looks like a manual radiator, it only has 2 inlets, 1 for the upper radiator hose, 1 for the lower radiator hose.

Autozone is a bunch of idiots. They have the radiators backwards in their system, it shows an automatic radiator for manual and vice versa. I have a new radiator and its going back in tomm hopefully. Never will use them again if I can help it.
