Another Newbie Convert, G'day

Hey Gang, terrific site, great info well done to all..

Its our first venture into beemer land.. Just bought my wife a lovely 20k BMW 320CI E46 coupe for her birthday. What a great car as below

we both love it, but there are NO cup holders.. looks like it may have had some factory mobile phone in the console part as there is a cradle which pops out and underneath there is a plug of some sort.

Anyway, I was wondering what I needed to do to retrofit some cup holders? I guess just pull out whats there and just get a set of Ebay?

The other thing that I did not properly research was the GPS. I made the mistake of thinking that every beemer with a colour screen had also a GPS.. ah no they don't :-( ..So heres has the colour screen with the tv, but we really need a GPS, whats the consensus on this, is it better to just buy one of these dodgy Chinese 300 in 1 GPS/DVD/IPOD players off Ebay and replace existing screen?

Is there a particular brand/type of these 3rd part units thats better than the rest? Essentially she would want the unit to be able to do this:

1. Charge her iPhone
2. Connect to iPhone with Blue Tooth.
3. Have a GPS that can have the maps updated, either by paing or subscribing to some service.
4. Hook up to existing wiring so that the steering wheel controls will continue to work.
5. Can add a reverse camera to the unit and able to be triggered by selecting reverse.
