City Driving and Performance Clutches...

Well, I've finally abused my clutch to the point of needing replacement. Now I'm looking for some advice on what kind of clutch to get next, but I have some specific needs so I decided to start a new thread.

I'd consider myself a textbook abusive driver. I am EXTREMELY hard on my car. Late braking, hard accelerating, hard turns, evasive manuvers, rapid shifting, lots of clutch slipping, etc. I don't that's particularly unique, but where I drive I think makes this a unique problem...

I live in San Francisco so I am driving every day in harsh city traffic. I am frequently cresting some of the steepest, narrowest, most twisted allowable roadways in America and doing so in city traffic. Even when I want to drive smooth, I end up in situations where I have to make quick downshifts for odd terrain changes, suicidal pedestrians, inching forward up steep hills in gridlock, and other city driving challenges.

So, for the reasons I just said, the previous clutch didn't cut it. I now have a slipping clutch under heavy torque conditions and outrageous cavitation due to hardened spots on my flywheel. And all this with only 40k miles on the clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate.

That being said, what do you guys recommend for a replacement clutch, flywheel, pressure plate combo? I'm not a fan of the dual mass flywheels and would like to switch to a single mass unit with a sprung hub instead, otherwise I'm open to suggestions.

All opinions welcome!
