You won't get records if BMW didn't service it.

My Ride: A car
From what I found most dealerships wont do it without proof of ownership unless you're on good terms with a SA. One dealership told me they couldn't do it at all which I knew was BS, so they lost a customer over laziness (Open Road BMW in Edison NJ).

What a brilliant contribution. Based on the fact that they include free maintenance for a minimum of 4yrs/50k miles I'd say that chances are it was dealer serviced at least up to that point.

We can pull records, but Not supposed to share that info. This is something you should take up with your local bmw dealership. Go with vin # and ask them. They can help you.

Who are you buying it from? If private owner, they should be able to supply this for you. If it's a dealer, maybe they could request the info from BMW?

If it's a dealer, they can pull the vehicle history report from BMW. It show's all service events at BMW centers, warranty work, recalls, sales history, etc.

At most stealerships, you practically have to get on your knees from them to 1. Give you the time of day & 2. Actually get the records if the car wasn't bought there.

Haha, good luck with a 335. If they refuse to show, they're hiding HPFP failures. Your best bet is probably call BMW NA.

Some dealerships will give you the service history print out. A well known dealership was kind enough to provide me with the background for a car I did not buy from them. I drove two hours to make a deal on a specific car they had and we couldn't reach an agreement. I think they were kind of stunned that I left over the amount they would not budge on, but it was very kind of them to give me the records for the car I ended up buying.
