Facetime on Windows and/or Linux?

I've searched around but haven't come up with much, and there might not be any way to do it, but is there a program out there that would allow me to face time on my computer? Is it possible to run some sort of virtual machine and run face time that way?

You could probably install 10.8 on a virtual machine.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Hopefully my dinosaur of a computer can handle it.

Every single member of my family and my gf has a mac and/or ipad. I have an iphone but I'd like to be able to talk while getting work done and not worry about holding the phone. Plus, getting everyone on skype or gchat is a hassle if they're already able to face time.

If you can't get a virtual version of 10.8, what about getting a video out adapter for the iphone and connect it to the tv.

Chances are, if I'm at home then I'm working at the computer. I'd rather be able to sit here and be productive while talking.

I wonder if you have an AppleTv and you mirror your iPhone to the tv while on FaceTime.. this way you will have a larger screen lol

just build a stand for your phone..
or get something cheap from monoprice

like one of those suction cup phone holders for a car, stick it to your desk..

i believe facetime goes through some kind of server from apple so i doubt it will allow anything 3rd party to connect to it
