What's going on guys, after years of avoiding any type of mods to my E46 I've finally decided to dress her up as I would any of my cars. Owned my E46 for over 3 years now, and it's my first BMW. I was in the street racing world for awhile with cars such as acura's and civics, so entering the BMW world is very exciting for me. Check out a list of mods I've done so far with plenty more to come. Stay TUNED!!!!

OP - you need clear side and front markers to tie the lighting together. black out trim...these are just starting places esp with M3 replica bumper

nice start but that bumper needs some other items to make it work. A set of wider wheels, a mild drop and at the very least an m3 trunk lip. I wouldnt change the tails, RCRs look way better than the depo prefacelift clears

They can be pretty quick if modded correctly...

He also said he has owned his e46 for 3 years now. Since you dont know how long ago he raced acuras and civics he could have possibly done both at the same time. (raced civics and owned a bimmer)

Hahaha that's what i was thinking. But some of them are fast with the right turbos.

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree. But you need a turbo to get any power that'll do some damage. But by then, enough money has already been spent where you could have just bought a car with that much power stock.

Yeah, like I said above.. with turbos. Anything can be made fast with a turbo. Honda's are just engineered to not go fast. They're made for A-B transportation & fuel economy. (except the obvious cars like nsx & s2000)

But someone wants to build a FWD turbo car with a lot of power.. I guess good for them.

OP If I were you i'd go with smoked corners, smoked side markers and then black out the chrome trim around the windows

I think it looks great. The M3 bumper great as is, but some MTech side skirts would def set them off.

And I'm personally one who loves the facelift tails and thinks prefacelift LED tails look dated.

Get some clears for the front and sides and then you've got a solid foundation

I have seen a full weight civic hatch break in to the 10's in the quarter mile on motor. Yo don't need a turbo to make them a formidable opponent, but it definitely makes it easier. That car had ~300whp IIRC.

hahaha I love how this thread turned into more about civics and acura's. Thanks for the feedback fella's. Got some more parts on the way, and a new paint job as well. Paint job won't be happening until early spring, but I'll still be collecting parts throughout the winter.

Bought the BMW after I left the street racing world, and when I was in a better position to afford it ha! By the time I'm done it will definately be one of the best you've seen on this site, GUARANTEED! P.s Love your M! Real dope man.
