Breathing E46; New Shoots From LA (Update, Functional Quad Exhaust on the Steel Blue)

The fear of not having her tomorrow, the next month or even 10 years from now made me pull her and her friends to a lot and get them all naked after having a few shots at the Coin Car Wash. Happy new day everyone

Update 5/10: I received a few messages asking about the Quad Exhaust setup on the Steel Blue. I decided to post a step by step instruction/pictures hoping this helps the ones that want to go quad with the lowest cost possible. ($130 not considering the exhaust tips).

Some of you guys have done an amazing job straight from the engine and stuff, but I just wanted to make it functional and I found the guy who had the Ball$ to do it for me without giving me headache since most of the shops won't do it (For the safety bs reasons).

I am not talking about performance gain here or cheesy stuff like that..this will make the one on the right functional for the cold weather/morning warm up vapor thing that'd defo beat the dummy/fake quad. Feel free to ask any questions you have and if you live in LA, I can take you to Coco's shop to get it done for you. He's the man.

No vibrations, no damage to the car or the battery housing. It will make a difference in the sound and I'm in love. Cheers

Wow, some really nice cars. I especially like how you have the LED strips where the fogs would go... I had been considering something like that myself, hadn't seen it before though. I think the tails modeled after the newer bimmers are different too, nice to see not everyone has eagle eye sets. Awesome pictures!

Thanks bud. The white E46 is my brother's who was a Mazda lover and finally fell in love with E46 after taking a road trip with my 2000 E46 6 months ago and he bought his first real ride 3 weeks after. I've been helping him here and there but we definitely have different tastes. For 6 months and being a first time E46 owner..I give him credit for what he has built already. He has a lot to learn tho lol

Yes it is. Original E92 M3 bumper added to E46. Basically half n half.
I'm glad you like the pictures. Thank you

the led fog strips would look great if they were integrated better into the bumper. have you thought about fabbing up a cover for them that would reach end to end in the fog opening a la 6 series?

What you said is so true and I've been thinking about it. They match my 6000 ‹mnitza 90 LEDs perfectly and they're bright as hell in the morning and night. However, that lil gap...I need to spend some time and come up with an idea but for the time being, I'm happy.
Any thoughts or ideas anyone?

You keep the same brackets of the original bumper. The upper part of what you see is the oem bumper; the lower part is an original E92 M3 bumper which was cut and welded to the E46 bumper by a local shop in North Hollywood. You can easily adjust the hight before welding it. Please let me know if you have any questions

What halo/angel eyes are those? Did you just remove the lens and install them or changed the entire headlight in itself?

Where did you buy them from and what all did you need to put them on? I have 2001 330i E46 and have yellow stock lights and have been wanting to upgrade to angel eyes and hid white 6k low beam and high beam bulbs.

Any recommendations or suggestions? Love the black car! Great ahoot

Thanks, those are ‹mnitza Orion V2.5 90 LEDs. Amazing piece from ‹mnitza. It comes with everything you need and I hooked it up to the interior lights. The covers on our headlights are removable so yes

Very nice E 46s. And I like the sedan a lot! That frontsplitter is TOP.
Do you know if it is a PRIOR bumper on the AW or what brand it is?

Thanks buddy, no it's not Prior Design. I explain up there how we made that bumper. Let me know if you have any questions
