Nice car my man, I'm doing a similar build on a ZHP coupe.

What was the total price for the BMW Performance floating rotors and calipers, and I assume you needed the adapter plates from ECS?

I've had those floating rotors on my car for years, but my aftermarket pads (performance friction) didn't grab on the outer edge so I have an ugly ring of rust.

Not sure if I just need OEM pads and new rotors, or if I should buy the BMW Performance kit.

Thanks.

My ZHP's modding is getting close to done I'm afraid....not many performance-related mods I have left:

1. rear 135i Performance caliper mod
2. boosting (TS2+)

Then the cosmetic mod...
1. CSL bootlid painted in Imola then mounted
2. new Arqray lip spoiler painted Imola and mounted

That's pretty much it... other than all the required maintenance items that comes first over modding Then there is the issue of refreshing the paint on the car because by the time I'm done doing the maintenance and performance mods, I want the rest of the car to look absolutely perfect in fresh Imola
thats a pretty serious finishin items! car will be a piece of art after you're done haha. and you say a new arqray lip mounted...but what you really mean to say is molded

I'm curious, what State did your Dinan TB ship from ?

I sold my spare to a forum member about 2-3 weeks before you got it, your pics look like the one I sold.

Wheels are in near perfect condition and I can't wait when the time comes to get these wheels mounted
One of my favorite wheels ever for an E46. You're funny. How exactly do you "take delivery" of something when you're the one driving to get it! Isn't that more like "eliminating shipping"?

For example: "Yesterday I took my ZHP on a little road trip south to eliminate shipping of my new BBS CH wheel set."

The new one looks so shiny!! It was easier to reinstall as well The alternator whine I have been putting up with for 4 years is gone now...

After installing my new alternator, I then went to investigate the source of my rear rattle and discovered a blown seal on my driver's rear shock and massively corroded spring... :/

I sent BC Racing an email with pics so will be waiting to see what they will do. If I end up sourcing a new set of coilovers, I will do so from FCP Euro and know that I will at least have lifetime warranty with them.

This is the reason why I will be ordering parts from FCP Euro from this point forward....

Good lord...I'm guessing eastcoast aka saltbuckastan?

OH MAH GAWWWD Those CHs look great man!

I'm very surprised your bc coils look like that! I know they are coated and winter proof but damn! haha. I'm slowly transitioning from my winter setup to my summer setup, besides my bumpers and seats, but when I put my wheels back on my bc coilovers looked nothing like that! I just sprayed em down with some brake cleaner and wiped em down, and they looked good as new...hopeful Chelsea and the bc team will help you out

@ ICONIKE46, I'll be upgrading my springs to 14k front/12k rear and getting new rear shocks which should take care of my issue driving on these crappy New England roads... as a kit for my 330i they come in 7k front/8k rear. Rather than just replacing the blown shock, I'd rather replace them in sets My ZHP will be perfect in no time
Good call, the swift spring upgrade is the way to go my friend! I personally am using 8k front 11k rear. IMO i think that's the perfect rate for the e46 chassis unless you're really going for a static fitment/low fitment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I know you're more of a function kinda guy, so the 14k front might be too stiff for your liking. Normally you want a softer setup up front rather than out back. If anything do a 10k/12k front&rear setup if you want it to be more on the stiffer side and then adjust your dampening accordingly. TRUST me, you'll thank me later. As I said, I'm running 8k front and 11k rear rates, and I'm a performance oriented/spirited driver and my setup coupled with my hotchkis sways and treehouse racing solid bushings. Body roll does not exist in hard cornering and my ride is smooth as butter still. Track oriented setup, but retaining daily driver comfort

Not preaching like I'm some suspension guru, but I know quite a bit about suspension setups and their characteristics on the e46 chassis so please feel free to shoot me a pm if you have any questions

EDIT: Also take my suspension advice into consideration when you do eventually upgrade to the TS2 and join the club

Good to hear!! I was JUST about to say make sure the shocks are valved for the new rates, but since BC racing has such good customer service I wouldn't put it past them to do that naturally for ya. They got a real good team out there, and their products are top notch. Is it bad that I'm excited to see your reaction when it's all said and done? haha! You'll love em brotha. And of course, I'll always try and help a fellow fanatic to the best of my ability, that's what I'm here for Especially if it's TS2 related

I'd love to see how that sport button works! Also, that's the best looking lip for the m-tech bumper.
I didn't really like the look of the bumper, but with that lip it looks great!

@ ICONIKE46 thanks for all your help brother!
Anytime my friend! Glad everything worked out for you. Keep us posted when everything's installed, I wanna see your reaction with the swift spring upgrade. I don't know anyone who ran the standard bc racing springs so it's always nice hearing a comparison.

In terms of being low, I left my front coilovers at stock settings from factory in terms of height since I got them and only recently did I lower it a tiny bit (size of a flathead screwdriver tip) and it sits perfect. If you just want to eliminate wheel gap, even the STOCK front height achieves that which is crazy thinking about how much lower you can go haha.

Enjoy it man! Cant wait to hear what you have to say about em haha
