Xenons from X5 to 330i?

Ok, so first off :hello:!This is actually my first thread since getting my first BMW last week.

So today I met up with a guy who had a sweet deal on some winter wheels & tires. However, bonus for me, he had these OEM HIDs (I"m assuming they're xenons) that he just gave me. He said the the ballasts and lights could be transfered to my 330's assemblies with some modifications. I'm not so sure I want to go through with it, but I took them anyways. Hell, free is free!

So long story short, has anyone heard of retrofitting Xenons from an X5 into a 330?

I'm not that knowledgeable on lighting, but I'll read the **** out of whatever links you guys can point me towards!

they could , however, you have to modify them in order to fit them properly.. Search for retrofit to find out a little more info on the project..

Thanks, I'll do some searching on retrofitting xenons.
