My Ride: E39 M5, E46 330Ci
FS: 2001 330Ci Topaz Blue / Black, 66k miles

I have loved and babied this car for 13 years and it pains me to consider selling it, but with a wife and now two kids, a 2-door coupe just doesn't make sense anymore. It's time to face the music and let go of this beauty for a more practical 4 door family sedan (I talked the wife into a 2003 M5, so I'm not suffering too badly). I only hope the next owner appreciates her as much as I have.

Topaz Blue Metallic exterior, Black Montana leather interior, Myrtle wood trim, 5-speed manual, 66,800 miles, asking ** $11,900 **. Will likely post an ad on craigslist soon, but I wanted my fellow E46 enthusiasts have a crack at it before it goes to the masses.

One owner, adult owned (I'm officially 40), excellent condition, all service records, garage kept at work and at home, 100% stock, all original everything, non-smoker, no pets, no rust, never wrecked, never tracked, zero deferred maintenance, all services performed by certified BMW technicians by the book. See photos for condition of paint/interior.

1) Premium Package: wood trim, leather upholstery, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, power seats with memory and lumbar support, 4-function onboard computer (no navigation), 2-way power glass moonroof
2) Sport Package: 3 spoke multifunction sport leather steering wheel, 10-way adjustable sport seats with side bolsters and manual thigh support, 17" M double spoke alloy wheels with 225/45R17 fr, 245/40R17 rear performance tires, sport tuned suspension
3) Cold Weather Package: 3-stage heated front seats, retractable heated headlight washers, split folding rear seats, pass through ski bag with rear center armrest
4) Xenon Lights
5) Harman Kardon audio with in-dash CD Player

Some service highlights:
Regular oil/filter changes, 5W-30 or 0W-40 synthetic oil
29k miles, inspection I
48k miles, cam shaft position sensor
53k miles, repair sunroof shade
58k miles, inspection II (air/oil filters, coolant flush, power steering flush, brake flush, control arm bushings, etc)
62k miles, rear brake pads, fresh tires (Potenza RE970 AS Pole Position)
66k miles, thermostat, water pump, hoses, and coolant flush, final service for anticipated sale (oil/filters, lube, top off fluids, etc)

Located in southern Oregon. Can arrange shipping if necessary. PM me for service history or other questions. If you've been waiting for an immaculate stock E46, this might be the car for you!

Not a lot of comments so far... maybe a glut of E46 330's for sale right now? Does the price seem fair for a car in this condition? Thanks!

Car looks incredibly clean my friend, just be patient I'm sure you'll find a buyer. Good luck, make sure to post the M5 to tease us.

Here's the garage currently... the E46 in the background with its usurper in the foreground (2003 M5)

As you can see, I clearly have one too many blue BMWs.

Love it!!!! Put 2 more doors on it and I would be flying up there to buy it!! For reference I just helped a friend buy a 2000 323ic with 56,000 miles, it was owned by an elderly friend and looked like it rolled off a showroom floor, and he paid $9500. It took a while for the seller to find a buyer, maybe a month. Also recently near Ventura a blue 330i with 56,000 miles was listed on craigslist for $12.5 or $13.5 and sold in a few days. My only hesitancy with your car is I am used to cars that don't see rain or snow and have absolutely no corrosion - not sure what it is like where you live in Oregon. So in answer to your question, I think given the care and rarity and desirability of the packages and color your price is about right, you may have to wait a bit and settle for less, but it only takes one person to fall in love and happily pay the money....

Thanks Bob. I'm happy to consider offers. Fair market value is all I'm after.

Southern OR climate is similar to CA... fairly dry with very little snow. A little rain here and there but nothing like the rest of OR (not like Portland/Salem/Eugene). Also, OR uses gravel NOT salt on icy roads so no corrosion/rust at all... just dusty until the street sweepers come through.

I can be patient. I'm secretly hoping I'll be "forced" to hold on to it! I want the car to go to a good home with someone who loves them as much as I do.

I considered clears as I do like the look better, but the value of a truly 100% stock car seems high to me. The new owner can customize it completely to their liking!

I fully agree. My buddy had a Topaz Blue vert (2002) so it came with the clears and it was outrageous.

My ZHP was a lease back in 06 and missed the hell out of it as I got married had to get a SUV which prompted me to pick up an '02 coupe this past summer. I do love it but I am looking to sell it now and hoping to pick up something with an auto trans. I know, blasphemy but it is for personal reasons

Best of luck, I know this will sell soon as it is low miles, top condition in the top color combo.

I used to be so jealous of the 2002+ with their stock clears. But I've grown fond of the ambers in my aging taste... they feel more nostalgic, almost classic to me now (but indeed, maybe less sexy)

I'll have an auto in the SUV, sure, but in an E46?? *gasp* blasphemy is right!

Actually, back to BMW. I owned 4 different bimmers including a ZHP, an M Roadster, and an E46 M3, but the one I miss most is the 1st one I ever owned. A 2001 Topaz 330ci I made an M3 clone out of.Click image for larger version

She's a beauty!! My first BMW was a blue 1988 320i. I traded her in with over 140k miles to buy this E46 actually. I miss old blue... I'm worried I'll miss this one too!

The wife thinks we should keep it. Pretty sure she's just saying that because I told her not to drive it while it's up for sale.
