Annoying engine noise.

My 99 323i makes an irritating rattle coming from the motor. makes the car almost sound like a diesel. I dont know exacty wear its coming from almost sounds like exhaust leak from the manifold but not sure. any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I didn't listen because I'm on my phone but its most likely an exhaust shield. And most likely the ones that are part of the exhaust manifold gasket. Touch them (when cold) to see if they're loose.

Is the link not working for you either? If there loose can I tighten or just replace the gaskets?

If the manifolds were loose, your engine would be race car type loud.
Replacing them is a major job, and not worth the effort for something that is not affecting performance, unless you are just really, really bored, and like working with a lot of stuck nuts, and working in an area with almost no room.
Some people have been able to just pull theirs off. Mine would not pull off. I ended up putting self adhesive heat shield on the plate, and it absorbs the vibrations, and kills the noise. You do need to replace it every 4 months or so, but it is cheap, and takes about 2 minutes.
I am not sure that is what I hear in your car though. It sounds like you have some really loud lifters though.
To test the heat shield theory, just press down on the heat shield with the engine running, and see if the noise goes away, like in the pic below:
